Sunday Feels

Day designer by Whitney English, Elle magazine & coffee mug from Target

I woke up this morning to the sound of birds chirping and I thought today is going to be a good day! My boyfriend and I slept in, ate a late breakfast, and now we are sitting next to each other on the couch. I'm blogging and admittedly peeking at Pinterest...guilty!  While my boyfriend is enjoying his second cup of coffee and watching his favorite shows on TV. This is our Sunday morning. Sleeping in, drinking coffee, talking about our baby to be who is constantly moving in my tummy, and relaxing. It's quite nice. I guess you could also say it's the calm before the storm. In about 3 1/2 months we will have a baby in between us. Though I say it's the calm before the storm, we can hardly wait for our baby's arrival. So when I say it'll be a storm I simply mean crying baby, sleepless nights, etc. ironically, we are excited for it all.

What does your Sunday look like?

Today, I'm blogging, and writing my articles due this week for the two blogs I write/contribute to. Those would be GenTwenty & TwentySomethingLiving. I also might get some easy cleaning in, go for a walk later to get my heart rate going (always good while you're pregnant) and of course I'll be planning out my week with my ever so lovely Day Designer Planner

Also, being that I'm exactly 23 weeks pregnant today, I'll need to take a bump picture for this week. That's always fun. Since I'm already on an early leave from my regular full time job, I'm having to take it easy. I'm on a light bed rest...doctors orders. Nothing serious, but in order to ensure I stay healthy and so does my baby, doctor doesn't want me working or doing anything strenuous. Taking precautions are always best during pregnancy. I've had a tough pregnancy so far, but I'm loving every moment of it. I'm creating life and my body is my baby's cocoon. It's a magical and unique experience, no matter how tough some days are. I wrote a recent article about how pregnancy is beautiful, it should be posted soon on GenTwenty's website.

So I hope you enjoyed reading about my Sunday. For those moms-to-be and any other mom out there, what are your Sunday's like? Are you and yours patiently awaiting the arrival of your first baby? Are you and yours planning a family day with the kiddos? Comment below on what your Sunday's look like, and don't forget to leave some love for O&F. We're all about spreading the love, encouraging one another and relating to each other.

Happy Sunday! 🌺
